Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

As Maintenance Supervisor, your main duties will include:
Leading a team of maintenance engineers and technicians
Planning and overseeing preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
Managing and responding to machinery breakdowns promptly
Issuing permits to work, managing contractors and ensuring site safety compliance
Supporting apprentices and mentoring junior team members
Ensuring continuous improvement in plant reliability and efficiency
This is a hands on role, requiring both leadership and technical ability in a fast paced manufacturing or production environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you must have:
Proven experience in reactive and planned maintenance within a manufacturing, production or process plant
Previous supervisory or management experience in maintenance function
Strong fault finding skills and the ability to work under pressure
Familiarity with issuing permits to work and managing external contractors
An apprenticeship background and relevant engineering qualification, City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
